New Research Suggests A New Way to Fight Inflammation
Lead author, Yungshung Ma, at the University of Massachusetts finds
from his study over 500 participants with an average age of 48, that
a diet high in fiber may play a role in reducing inflammation and,
thus, the risk of cardiovascular disease and diabetes. “Our results
support the current dietary guideline, which recommends 20 to 35
grams of fiber per day, including both soluble and insoluble fiber,”
concludes Ma.
